Safety requirements

There are no height or age requirements for this attraction, however all riders of the FlowRider attraction must be competent swimmers, as the sheet wave of water moves at a high speed.

The FlowRider is a water sport attraction presenting a continuous man-made wave of flowing water for you to ride at your leisure! Practice your balance and test your board skills as you catch your waves without a worry. 

The FlowRider WIAB is around 15m in length and 9m in width, generating a wave of 3-4” of water flowing over the ride surface. The patented tension ride surface offers a fun, trampoline-like landing for any accidental wipe-outs, and is the safest in the industry.  

Simply hop onto your flow board and hit the waves as directed by our team, and you’ll be riding the flow in no time! 

Within this epic attraction you’ll get the thrill of surfing without the intense ocean experience, and with the security of knowing that you’re safe without the risk of ocean rips. Take your time as you’ll get to experiment with your board tricks and get the most out of your wave session. If you’re an experienced rider, enjoy a go at dropping in, carving turns, throwing spray and performing an endless display of moves.

Did you know we have a special flow fence designed especially to allow TWO riders at once? You can ride side by side on the FlowRider with your bestie or siblings! We usually operate the flow fence with a minimum of seven riders, however you can put in a request if you’re just bursting to ride together with a mate to make even more of a blast!
